Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lord Systems, LLC("Lord Systems," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit lord.systemsor contact us through this site. Lord Systems is a software engineering and cloud consultancy; this site is our marketing and contact site.
1. The short version
- We use cookieless analytics — no analytics cookies are stored on your device and there is no cross-site tracking.
- We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling or remarketing.
- We only collect what you send us through our contact form, plus minimal security and measurement data described below.
- Because we store nothing non-essential on your device, this site does not need a cookie-consent banner.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you submit our contact form, we collect:
- Your name and email address;
- Optionally, your company name;
- The service you are interested in and the message you write.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Security data: To protect the contact form from spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile and record the IP address of a submission and a timestamp (used for rate-limiting). Turnstile is a privacy-preserving CAPTCHA alternative that does not track you across sites.
- Cookieless analytics: We use Google Analytics 4configured in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode with all storage denied and client storage disabled). It measures aggregate, anonymous usage of the site. It sets no
_ga/_gidcookies, does not persist an identifier on your device, and is not used for cross-site tracking or advertising. - Advertising click measurement: If you reach this site by clicking a Google Ads ad, the ad-click identifier in the URL (for example
gclid) may be recorded on our server together with a contact you submit, solely so we can measure whether our ads lead to inquiries. This is conversion measurement only — we do not set advertising cookies, run an on-site Google Ads tag, build remarketing audiences, or share your contact details with Google for ad targeting. Conversions are reported to Google in aggregate via offline/server-side import.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you ask about;
- To protect the site and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse;
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how effective our advertising is;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising profiling, we do not build remarketing audiences, and we do not transmit hashed personal information to advertising platforms.
4. Cookies
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies/technologies related to security (Cloudflare / Turnstile). It sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. For that reason, no cookie banner is required. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will add a consent mechanism first.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or share your personal information. We disclose it only to the service providers that help us operate this site, each acting on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Site hosting, database (D1), Turnstile anti-spam, security | United States / global edge |
| Slack Technologies (Salesforce, Inc.) | Internal notification of new contact-form submissions | United States |
| Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) | Cookieless, aggregate site analytics — no cookies, no cross-site tracking | United States |
| Google LLC (Google Ads) | Aggregate ad-conversion measurement via offline import — no advertising cookies, no on-site tag | United States |
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer (you will be notified before your information becomes subject to a different policy).
6. Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our business relationship, and then delete or anonymize them. Security/rate-limiting records are short-lived. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 8).
7. International transfers
We operate from the United States and our providers are primarily US-based. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Quebec, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).
8. Your rights and how to exercise them
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA, and Quebec's Law 25), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out of sale is required.
To make a request, emailprivacy@lord.systems. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information).
